Fishing License. Generally, a salt water recreational fishing license is required except when fishing off a licensed fishing pier, such as Redington Beach's Pier, or from a licensed commercial fishing boat. Children under 16 years of age do not need a salt water fishing license. Fishing licenses are available at bait shops and sporting goods stores. Generally, fishing in fresh water also requires a license.
